We Do More Than Ball
Portrait series dedicated to anyone who claimed “Ball is Life”. A series of film photography that will explore the relationship black people have with basketball vs avenues outside of basketball. We are more than athletes and entertainment thus should have the space to explore avenues outside of basketball.

Must be someone who played basketball in high school or college and considered basketball as a career choice. Must be willing to speak about your basketball experience and how it shaped your life today.

After filling out the initial inquiry form I’ll follow up with you to schedule a brief 20 minute meeting. In this meeting we will discuss your basketball career and your career now then determine the best plan for your shoot. At the end of our meeting we will have a clear direction of the photoshoot as well as a date for the shoot.

First Generation
First Generation Celebration aims to celebrate and appreciate black and brown first generation college students and those who came before them. This photographic memoriam, conducted through film and digital photography, will both celebrate recent college graduates but also thank their parents for paving the way and supporting them throughout the four years.

Must be the first in your family to graduate high school or college and be willing to speak to this experience. Props are important to the success of the shoot so you should be able to bring items that represent you, your culture, your family, and your college experience.

Model 3: Natural Type 3 or 4 Textured Hair
